Driver Versions#

To download official NVIDIA GPU Drivers, click here.

Note

When using GPU resources on Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) such as Virtual Machines, the drivers must be obtained directly from the CSP where the services are deployed.

Drivers older than the ones listed below are not supported in the latest version of Omniverse. Newer drivers may function properly, but have not yet been fully validated. This page is regularly updated with the most up-to-date information.

Known Issues and Limitations#

Affected Driver Versions

Issue

Windows R550

Real-Time 2.0 mode occasionally crashes on Windows with R550 drivers.

Windows R560, R570, R575

[Fixed in 576.80, 573.42, 573.39] On Windows with DirectX 12, scenes with a very large number of instances (many millions) may show performance degradation. This will be fixed soon in an upcoming driver release.

Windows 11 24H2 R570, R575

[Fixed in 576.80, 573.42] Kit may crash when using multi-GPU with at least one Blackwell GPU in the system.

Linux 570.144 and older

[Fixed in 575.64] In some circumstances, Kit apps may crash during driver shader compilation during scene loading.

Windows R550, R560, R570, R575

When ‘Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling’ is enabled on Windows, Kit apps may freeze when using Omniverse WebRTC Streaming.

535.256+ on Vulkan

Versions greater than 535.255 have their version reported incorrectly in Vulkan, causing the driver to be misidentified as incompatible. A workaround is to disable the driver verification check with the command-line argument ‘–/rtx/verifyDriverVersion/enabled=false’

Omniverse RTX Renderer Feature Support#

Some Omniverse RTX Renderer features are only supported under certain conditions. The ability to run Omniverse SDKs on non-RTX GPUs is provided without any support guarantees. The table below details feature availability on each GPU architecture:

Note

These specs are minimum suggested requirements. Faster and more robust GPU’s and/or CPU’s, additional memory (RAM), and/or additional disk space will positively benefit Omniverse performance.
